So what are ya sayin' sir?

Are you ready to cross over to the dark side?

To join in with all the outcast, misfit, irresponsible, disrespectful, low-down cheats that make up our little club?

Please advise.

And a little note to our ... "special" .... friends over there in Gilmer ....

These poor folks have been tryin' to join for months and just can't quite get it right.

But Ms. Marde done sent me two e-mails today to snail-mail an app.

(She forgot to give me an addy in the first one .. )

I, hereby attest .... right here in front of the kerbillion folks that read this damn forum daily.... that if ya'll can somehow, in someway, return the form I'm mailin' ya ..... then By Gawd ya'll gonna be members.

Good luck.

Is there something I need to know about the man I am married to? He did go the Ramble without me but I didn't think he could get in too much trouble with three kids and my brother tagging along.

No ma'am. In fact, it should come in handy so ya can read the address to send it back to us.

Damn ... ya didn't mention if ya could write the address on an envelope.

Good luck ... if all else fails, we'll sign ya up in person when we come to Gilmer.

Elwood to Brownsville is 660.4 miles sir.

Now that I've had fun at your expense sir ....

Houston has two seperate clubs:

1) The Texas Land Cruiser Club of Houston (www.tlcc-houston.org)

2) The Houston Chapter of Lone Star Land Cruisers (www.lslc.org)

Good luck.

If I ask is because I am not familiar with the area, and for the record, Elwood,Tx. I don't thinks it's a big city like houston or dallas which are more recognizable. but thanks

Before me and my Boys are done sir ... Elwood's gonna be far more recognizable than Houston or Dallas.

so it's a local club, and I mean just for those that live in elwood.

Sorry kowboy, I do look outside the city limits and not only within them.

Woody thanks for pointing out the size of Elwood.

Actually sir, not at all. Includin' immediate family members, the club's got more people than Elwood!

We've got proud members from coast to coast in 9 different states.

Check out the ICBM thread on the club forum for Lone Star Land Cruisers ... Show up .... have a few beers ... do a little wheelin' .... and join our movement.

Where does this events, runs or drinking beer take place?

Domek:

I'm a Elwood chapter member, proud one at that, and live a rockin 1400ish miles from the meeting site...fortunately, I participate vicariously online....and make a valient attempt to attend one club TLCA-related function a year (or more, when possible)

I believe the membership requirements are simple enuf...the ability to drink beer and something to bring to the club membership, whether it be a cute wife, basic eye-hand coordination, or experience in pyrotechnics....KOWBOY can elaborate.
