Brutus goes to Elwood ...
Done got me sort of a route planned out.
Goal is real simple: two-lane backroads as much as physically possible, no chain restaurants, no chain hotels, no hurry ... just easin' along enjoyin' a new truck and new scenery.
Not exactly the most direct route ... but looks to only be somewheres 'round 1600 miles ... and that's doable.
Leave Fenton, Michigan.
Go to Elwood, Indiana.
Then go to Elwood, Illinois.
Then go to Elwood, Iowa.
Then go to Elwood, Kansas.
Then go to Elwood, Missouri.
End up in Elwood, Texas.
If ya ain't livin' large ... then ya mize well be dead.

Done booked my "free" plane ticket on American usin' my frequent flier miles ... cost me 55 bucks.
Booked me a "free" luxury king-size suite at the Flint, Michigan airport Holiday Inn usin' my hotel points ... cost me 12 bucks.
So now sittin' dead-on-ready.
Just hope the truck's finished.
