White Trash Family Reunion '09
Of all the thangs that happened this year, quite possibly my biggest personal disappointment was not bein' able to have the Family Reunion. 
This will not happen again in '09 ... 'nuff said. 
Please try to schedule y'all's very valuable time to be in Fannin County from Thursday, 02 July to Sunday, 05 July.
Perhaps more than anythang else ... this non-wheelin' event and show of solidarity seperates our club from the crowd ... so please, PLEASE try to add this to your calender NOW for next year. 
Gonna be the same ... yet dif'rent. Details to follow.

I know Debi & I missed not being together with y'all last year. Ended up sitting in the yard, drinking a few beers and watchin' the neighbors shooting fireworks at each other and telling stories 'bout reunions past.....

Unfortunately, yes I did. I needed something with more room. TJ is 5 years old and he is 4 ft tall, not showing any signs of slowin' down in the growth department...
Chris(AGGIE) bought it, so it is around...

Reunion Update:
Debbie and I are gonna take a tour of a facility a week from Sunday that we've already tenti'vly reserved for the 4th of July weekend. Hopefully it will meet our needs. There is a huge potential at this facility to not only expand our event ... but actu'ly save me money to boot.
Should the facility indeed prove to be worthy ... I'll post up pics and details after the site visit.

So we done took the tour ... and sealed the deal.
We're goin' to Summer Camp Folks ... Camp Wohaleto to be exact.
Take Farm Road 2029 due South outta Downtown Telephone, Tx for 1.4 miles and then turn East on Farm Road 409 for 1 mile and it's on the South side of the road. It's about 7 or 8 miles from Downtown Elwood.
10 RV sites with water and electric ... well ... actu'ly 9 since I'm claimin' 1 right off the bat. Note: No sewer connections or dump station on the property.
I recommend those with RV's to go on and bring 'em.
BUT ... for those that ain't got RV's ... we got cabins. AIR-CONDITIONED cabins too By Gawd.
The place is set up for youth camps so all the cabins got bunk beds though. Still beats sleepin' on the ground ... and did I mention they got AC.
Main Bath House has 4 showers and 4 shitters ... sort of a unisex set up.
These two cabins have 4 sets of bunk beds with no facilities in them ... other than AC.

The first cabin is the oldest building on site. It has a room on each end with 2 sets of bunk beds. Between the two rooms is a half bath with sink and shitter.
The second cabin is the newest building on site. It has a whole mess of bunk beds and a full bath.

Place has a HUGE messhall with air-conditioned comfort.
Full On commercial kitchen with seating for up to 100.
Also has 4 bunks and a full bath usually used by the camp staff.

Nice, shaded common areas with picnic tables, playground for the young'uns, basketball court, and sand volleyball court.
