Most excellent sir!

Yes Sir - you can just see one sitting on top of one of the pcs. Full extension 16" slides rated at 500lbs (300lbs for vehicle applications) Kinda $$ at about $95 a set but damn nice!

Yes we did. You wanted something like 1/2" square tube about 3" high right? Any other do-dads or tie downs? I have a stainless locking paddle latch for the front and was thinking about trying to use a length of bright aluminum tread plate for the drawer face - still working on that one. Do you want any sort of devider in the drawer or is wide open better? I'm figuring about 6 bolts through the bottom to hole her down. Sound about right so far?

All this is fine and everything, but is he going to use them drawer or is it just for show? Ja! Ja! JA!

What is he going to put in those drawer? He's got a lot of storage space on executive transporter already.

Maybe one center divider runnin' fore and aft would be nice.

Hey Kowboy, you reckon you could get that trailer through one of them tunnels them boys like to dig? Then you wouldn't even have to cross that bridge!

Later,

With a little luck I will be finished tonight. Been kinda busy around here as we married off our oldest girl Sat. Went real well till they started playing "Daddys Hands" for the father daughter dance song. Too much for a soft hearted old fart like me!

So Daryl done delivered the drawer dealie to The Roundup and mounted it down on the back deck.

Unfortunately ... the back deck had some elevation irregularities that caused the drawer to bind up and not work right.

So today I took the drawer dealie back off and adjusted the elevation irregularities on the back deck by beatin' the shit out of it with a large hammer.

Bolted 'er back down ... and all is good. Right side of the drawer holds recovery gear and left side some trail essentials like first aid kit, toilet paper/shovel, and coupla MRE's.

The best part of this project was the brief time involved to actu'lly complete it.

Even with mountin' the new license plate ... it only took me 3 beers.

Thanks again Daryl ... damn-fine job makin' exactly what I wanted.
