I noticed that too when I drove up. The airbags are a lil' low and it ain't sittin' on level ground though. Weight wize it'll be the same as two cruisers ... just a lil' more wind resistance.

Hey Cam, Kowboy and I figured something out. A while back you made the comment "if I only had money like you and Kowboy" , well you would have money if you would change the brand of truck you drive that thing only costs like 18k more than ours. You could have you a white trash rig just by changing trucks.

Next up is the paint guy's gonna color match the new storage boxes to the camper color.

Then the whole rig goes to the weldin' shop to beef up the trailer.

I knew me a blind man once that said he could identify a piece of wood simply by the smell. I found that hard to believe and decided to test him. So I handed him a piece of Black Walnut. He held it close to his nose and properly identified it ... I was amazed. I then handed him a chunk of Oak that I had in the firewood pile ... and much to my surprise ... he identified it as well. So I went out in the yard and grabbed me a branch off of my Pecan Tree ... and after some serious smellin' ... he identified that as well. I was shocked. I was determined to trick the ol' bastard, so I had one of my ex-wives strip down buck nekkid and place her crotch right next to his old, weathered face. He didn't miss a beat ... quickly pronouncin' the smell to be the hull of an old Tuna-Fish boat.

With the lockin' doors opened up, you can see the framework to support the camper and the turnbuckles to hold 'er down. The frame is bolted to the trailer and the camper sits on thick rubber on top of the frame. The front half of the cabinets on both sides has a shelf in the middle. The grey junction box on the gooseneck is the control box for all the electric jacks that level/stabilize the trailer. You can just make out one of the 8k lbs. jacks on the front. There's also a 6k lbs. scissor jack on the back off of a motorhome. The system works very well. You can also just make out part of the trusswork below the trailer frame that the welder installed to stiffen 'er up. The storage boxes are all keyed alike and color-matched to the camper. And yes ... the trailer's black now.

These also work very well. Got steps mounted on both sides of the trailer behind the camper for easy/safe access.
