CO 2008 Itinerary

Going to plan B

Plan B- No one else commits to going to Colorado this year.
I park the 80 and military trailer, hook the CTD up to the pop up trailer and go to Yellowstone.
High fuel cost will reduce the number of RVs and visitors so It might be a good year to go.

10 Aug. - Durango
11 - 14 Aug. - Silverton, with day trips to Telluride, Ouray, etc.
15 Aug. - Head out to Creede
16 Aug. - DFW

Don't be so sure about Yellowstone. We came through there 3 weeks ago and everything was booked. Plus we will be in Silverton, what else do you want?

Are you still going out to yellowstone? We will be out there around the 1st or 2nd. Won't have the cruiser though....

Yup, Leaving Bartlesville, OK on the morning of the 9th, returning on the 17th.
Taking the Dodge on this trip. Better MPG, better MPH

Yellowstone is completely on the fly so I am expecting issues finding a campsite, etc.
Sort of a last minute, I always wanted to go and seems like good timing for me.

new job this year, so no vacation for me. i would jump in that passenger seat in a second to go to yellowstone, but alas, i cannot. no vacation available during the summer for me with the new gig, and no vacation until next year. enjoy some of that for me, chris.
