Prayer Request for the Baker Family

I just got off the phone with Butch. Debbie has been diagnosed with stage II breast cancer.
She will be undergoing surgery in the morning at 11am.

Please say a prayer for the healing and comfort of Debbie. And, for the strength and love of Butch, and the entire family.

Jesus,
Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness.
We pray that you will alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Lord,
we place our worries in Your hands.
We ask that You restore Your servant Debbie to health again.
And above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will
and to know that what You do, You do for the love of us all.

Amen.

Butch, Debbie and all the Bakers We love you like family. We are here for you if you need anything. Can be there to help you just call. We will continue to pray till we hear from you.

Talked with Butch a few minutes ago. The surgery went as planned. Debbie is doing well. She will be in the hospital a couple of more days. He will update when he can.

Deb is home resting , doing very well, the messages have been a blessing to all of the clan.

On a lighter note Sunday nite she felt well enough to go to my moms for a home cooked meal from mostly from mom's garden
Her children had bought about $200 worth of fireworks and we were all gathered watching them give us a premier show.......
One of them lil deals what shoots 25 rockets fell over and pointed towards the assembled crowd......one got Deb on the good boob, and stuck, she jumped up screaming ...ran into the side of a truck and fell.......she sustained burns which her Dr. found quite humorous on Monday when she went for the checkup.......was not funny to us that nite, just another chapter in the Baker family chronicles.......
TP, Kenda and Ronnie Lewis showed up last evening about the time I got the ribs and the food the church brought over.....hhhhmmmm, reckon they smelled it?
Kristie, Andrea, Deke, Lily were here and we really had a great time with them.....wish all of ya could have been there

I look at my bride and love her and appreciate her more than ever, don't want to think of my life if I had not found her....or all of you guys.

Today was certainly an emotional roller coaster ride for the Baker Clan.

Doctor's had said that all cancer was gone but they wanted to do some Chemo to make sure ... sort of a good news, bad news deal.

So they been gettin' geared up for that deal ... both physic'ly and ment'ly ... and the first treatment was gonna be today.

So they go to the Doc's today and the docs all gather up and have 'emselves a lil' confab ... and decide they don't need to do no Chemo afterall.

They said she's good to go!!

Still gotta lil' recoverin' to do for what's been done ... but ALL CLEAR!!

Today's a fine day ... a MIGHTY-FINE day.
