spotted FJ40 for sale

If anyone is looking I found a '77 FJ40 for sale up in Bowie. $6500

The picture looks like it might have a slight lift and maybe slightly oversized tires. but stock looking with hardtop.

I might go and look at it on Sunday. If it's still there I will post what it looks like.

I don't have any knowledge of the truck just saw it in a shopper paper.

OK you got me. no spots on it.

But it is pimer tan/grey. I went and gave it a quick once over Sunday.

Doesn't look to be in too bad of shape, It does have the rear quarter covers on it so a little rust will be assumed to be under neath that.
I saw a little floor rust in the passenger floor pan. And some of the normal small rusty areas at floor pan seams. But I think can easily be taken care of.

It has some home made extended shakles, I believe older aftermarket springs. They did have some newer u-bolts holding the front-end to the springs.

I didn't get to look in side it or under the hood. It was locked up. And I had to go past a locked gate to get to it, so I didn't try too be thorough about looking at it.

Factory roll bar, with the flip down seat on passenger side. I couldn't tell it it had on on the drivers side.

It does have a light duty roof rack on it, and a tow bar.

I did see a header on it. All the glass is good. It has a spare tire rack with fuel can (with some gas in it even). I didn't notice what rear doors it had.

It looks like a nice posibility for a rig for someone in the need for one. It can be fixed up and ready to go wheeling in just a little time and money.

Any questions? I didn't take a camera with me so no pictures.
