workday at Bridgeport's off road park
Just found the official site
Bridgeport, TX - Official Website - Northwest Park there is a workday tomorrow May 17. I can't go, I am teaching a mountain bike clinic. wish I could. Trail building can be very satisfying work. I wish more cities, states and counties did things like this. Maybe they will if this is successful. Anyone been out there yet? __________________ Chris Mann 1985 FJ60 photos & info about my FJ60 Photography Portfolio Virtual Tour Portfolio |

We've been to a couple of the work days. This place is going to be great. Easy to hardcore.

when I found out that it was only 300 acres, it seemed to me to be rather small. How many acres is there at Katemcy Rocks and Barnwell mountain?

I think that even at 300 acres, there is enough to keep you bussy for at least one whole day.

We've been out there before. Last I heard, they are forcing the trails to be ran "one-way", which makes sense for safety first, however, it's more fun to be able to crawl up and down a rock pile both ways. We didn't make last weekend, but there is plenty of trail building yet to be done. It is a "work" weekend, but still fun. Anyone know the hours of operation at bridgeport.
I was thinking about going up there middle of the week to do some goofing off. __________________ "Blue" - '96 FZJ80, OME, ARB, SLEE, E-locked, 4:88, 315 BFG AT "nuther" '82 FJ-40, Stockish..for now. "Gray" - '83 JT4RN, Wee little Beasty! *SOLD* |
