Looking forward to my first LSCR and I have a couple of questions. What night is the dinner and raffle/party and are they the same night? How far is it into town to re-supply? Is there a second optional dinner that can be purchased? Trying to plan out food supplies for the trip. Is camping first come, first serve and are there fire pits. If so is wood available? Finally, is there anyone who has heard of a magical elixar i believe refered to as "Shiner" and is it easily available?

Party is friday nite raffle bbq live music
We do not charge for extra's , but caution he has enough to feed 225......
20 miles or so, ice on premises, no drinking water on site
Camping primitive, first come first serve, lots of room
Burn Ban will probably still be on.........
We have 2 kegs Shiner coming, closest resupply is Brady, 25 miles north

Thursday night is usually potluck. Bring it. Cook it. Share it.

The main event is Friday Night.

Saturday night is still available for sponsorship.

Is there a cutoff date for registration? I'd like to go, but I probably won't know for sure until this weekend.

I'll probably also be showing up on Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning, so the qeustion is what will I miss if I do that.

Ummm...you'll miss wheeling on thursday and on friday morning. You'll miss the pot luck dinner on Thurday night and whatever stupidity that occurs on that night. Otherwise you wont miss much.

Butch or Chad will have to answer the late registration question.

We will close registration Sunday night which means you will not be assured of BBQ dinner as I have to give him a number then.....does not mean ya can't come, I got Kruse to raise the limit on trucks to 250 so we will not be limited by the facility..........

My radio only has 40 channels.
If I had 95 (and some change) channels, I'd have my own show too.

We will close pre registration for this years Roundup, at 6 pm tomorrow, as I have to give our BBQ chef the final count so he can begin preparation.........that said, it don't mean you can't pay at the gate and attend......just means you may not get fed .......
LSLC wants everyone to attend regardless of any issues with money or rig etc.
If you can't or don't wheel, or can only make it for the party or just want to come and hang out.....welcome....
We are aiming to set a new record after the band finishes on the rollover tree......and will have a record number of campsite pickers in attendance....sadly K Rocks is in a severe drought so they are under a burn ban, no open fires allowed this year.
I will post the raffle items soon......if you are not coming get ready to be very jealous, the list is damn impressive to say the least......

Butch

Now, that is my kind of event. I sure wish I could attend but someone has to pay the bills at this house!! Dangit, why couldn't Katemcy be closer

I won't be there, but that doesn't mean I can't give a big THANK YOU to Butch, Nick, Chad, and everyone else that is helping to put on this event.

Y'all have a great time.

parts needed

Considering that I will be several hundred pounds lighter once I am done delivering all the parts I'm hauling and unloading raffle prizes, I figured I'd toss it out there to see if any of you guys can come up with a couple of things that are a PITA to ship cause of size/weight.

FJ40 skidplates, 3 or 4 speed
stock exhaust manifolds
77-80 FJ55 gas tank

Call me at the shop [afternoons] or PM me with whatcha got.

Straight from Kruse, covered grilles only, no open flames, situation is critical, so there will be NO bending, loopholes or otherwise.

He personally was out one night last week helping fight one south of Mason, near as I can figure, it has to be serious for him to go out and help.........
