Sounds like a plan to me, I believe we'll make it (may be just me). However, afterwards, until I get a few other projects completed, I may have to park my junk for a while.

I drove out there on Sunday. It's about an hour and a half from Pflugerville. I expected 2 hours, but 1431 is mostly a 55, so I had no real trouble maintaining the speed limit.

Looks like I'm no gonna make it this time (Damn!!). Having some mods done to my Tow rig this weekend so it will be in the shop. Even had the Cruiser ready.. new rear brakes and all. After Trees Ranch I was checking the rear brakes on my red 40 and confirmed something I was suspicious about... THE REAR BRAKES WEREN"T WORKING!!!! AT ALL!!! Now they are. Looks as if I'll be around the house working on my other 40 , maybe I'll have this one ready for the next Round Up.
Have fun guys- C' ya'll at the next meeting.

I can't go. I have a dead 80 (fuel pump) and a leaky MB300 that has to get fixed. :(

Would like too, but I have to pick up my pickup..uhh.. did that sound right? Besides, now that the burn ban is finally off, I have some serious chain saw work to do around my place and a LARGE brush pile that needs to be burned so I can see how many snakes have made the brush pile home. On that note, I would like to let everyone know, that I have two pretty large trees that were blown over during a stom a couple of years ago (one oak and one elm I believe), if anyone needs to stock up on fire wood, let me know, you can cut and take as much as you need until they are gone (I don't have a fireplace, that's why I'm offering). If not, I'm going to cut them up and sell the wood by the cord.
Ya'll have fun!!

yes jeff i had fun with you and your buddy and thank you for helping me cut....i hope you did not get offended by our teasing ..you were never in a bad situation but the look on your face when your butt was puckering was just priceless....i always enjoy showing newcommers wheeling technique and as your skill improves then you will be able to see what your 40 is capable of....as for my tires they have numerous leaks from gashes in the sidewall and there was mud packed into the beads accelerating the leaks so if you know of any good deals on some 39.5/15/15 swampers let me know.......thanks again for your help and hope to see you on the trails again
