Wheeling and camping would of been nice..but it was not in the cards for us this year.

When your wise and older, with young kids, your understand that a parade is a very bid deal for the kids! The NW Hills parade has been going on for 36 years, and is a very big community event for our neighborhood. Lot of friends and family are involved, and a party after for the neighborhood.

Matt, when you are older you will realize that you were just a wise guy - but that was a normal state of mind for us all in our day .... And we love it.

Anyway, I am sure your father could easily explain to us all why we celebrate the 4th and commemorate the hard work and sacrifices so many have made for our freedom.

Note: This pic is also from the parade. It is my older son and I am very proud that he waves our flag.

Oh Eric, you. I'm a history nut so I completely understand the importance of the date and what it means to the nation. I was just wondering what importance three cruisers had to the parade. Besides they are totally badass, of course.

The neighborhood kids really dug it. We loved waving our flags to everyone. I got lots of applause from the crowds. Besides all of us have young kids and had
family obligations here on the reservation.

One thing we learned though : Put the diesel in the BACK of the parade line! :-)

FWIW: We also got to exercise our right to free speech and use our HAM licenses privileges! I had 2 meter communication with the green truck.....as if we needed it.

Jim,

Funny you should mention the wiring, I've been installing a new SS Battery tray today and adding a AUX fuse box. Click on my signature below on "3FE40" and you can read up on what I've been doing.

As for the Parts I got from you, then are stored in my garage, waiting to be painted. It's one of the last things Iam going to do..want to get the truck running 100% first.
