ALERT! Beware of the Boozer Cruiser - It cometh in the night!

Folks it’s been sighted again. This time at the Lone Star Jamboree and it wasn’t pretty. But what is it?

I comes in the night when you least expect it. It takes away a sober person and brings back a slobbering drunk. They say the only warning before it strikes is music. Usually Bob Marley or other fine Reggae; however, if you hear it, it’s probably too late. There’s no escaping the Boozer Cruiser. It’s a nocturnal beast that slithers around 4x4 trails consuming sober people that wander across its path. It’s been sighted as far north as Arkansas; down along the Texas coast and as far west as Texas’ Chinati Mountains.

I first heard of the legend while camping along the Rio Grande. The elder of an old Mexican village told me about The Boozer Cruiser while sitting around the campfire. His eyes were full of fear in his voice wavered with terror as he stared into the fire. He told me of many victims in the Big Bend region of Texas. The children of the village cry when it takes someone away.

They say the Boozer Cruiser lives with El Chupacabra, La Lloronaand the Donkey Lady. I believe its range is expanding and its thirst for human beings has grown ten-fold.

A last abducted victim was interviewed but all he said was, “No…more….cherries.” and mumbled, “That wasn’t a penalty” before passing out.

Warn your children and your camping buddies. For the Boozer Cruiser cometh in the night.

No, but I've heard of that person. Funny how such stories move across the country! Check www.boozercruisers.com for a description of the legend.
