Im in the process of rebuilding a locked front axle that when finished will be happily placed on my cruiser. Ive already got it half disassembled and the garage smelling of dinosaur fart...and maybe some of mine
So if anyone wants to stop by, lend a hand, watch and observe, teach the youngin' or just have a cold COME ON! Im pretty much gonna be on it home all day and late into the night since the weather is cool inside the garage for the rest of the week or until its done. PM or call me for directions..
Did anyone make it? I tend to work 10 to 12 hr days now with this new job so it takes away alot of my free time in the afternoon. sux. Hope you got it back together....

No but im still working on it. Ive got both sides off now i need to figure out how to seperate the hub, clean everything then reassemble. Sounds simple right
I also want to refinish the outside of the axle housing and maybe weld a support gusset well im at it. The thing is gonna get a full work over with most all new parts or dissassembled and cleaned. When i took one side off i dont think that side had ever seen service, i mean the birf was bone dry with some grease residue that looked like dried snot. There are some pics in my thread in the 80's section.
Figures Im working this sat and sun on a swap.I do have mon-thurs off next week but may have to give some time to help at work with the 50ish medics we just hired to help with orientation.
