Winch F/S

Summit M10000 with cable. Rebadged TMax. Currently mounted on my 80's ARB. The housing has a broken tab for one of the tiebars (and the second tiebar is missing) but the winch works, I pulled out some stumps with it this weekend. I'll leave it mounted until it sells so it can be tested before purchase.
I figured I'd offer it up locally before putting it in the Mud classifieds.

FREE, local pickup in Shavano Park.

Do you know how the tabs broke?

No, I don't know how it broke, it was like that when I bought it. It's only the one tab on the drivers side. The cable wrap comes pretty close to the tie bars, I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I was just curious because I've seen a few winches with breaks exactly the same. Can we expect to see you and the winch at the meeting this week?

I think I can make it this time, my yard project got moved up one day so I should be able to break away. The 80 is a mess from hauling brush to the Bitters Rd facility, but I'll try to get her ready.

Well, I did put a tarp down first. I did panic when I was unloading some rotten old logs and a roach looking beetle scurried out. It ran under the brush that was still in the 80 before I could stomp him. I had visions of it going under the carpet or something, but when I got the rest of the brush out I shook out the tarp and he fell out with it. I'm sure he was the only one. I've convinced myself that no other bugs could have possibly got past the tarp.

Still plenty left. There's a 20 foot concrete pad somewhere under there where the 80 usually lives.

I have a dumpster coming today as I'm also removing a wooden deck, but I'm sure I could spare some for a test fit.
