Beware of the power lines....when it's humid

After our little impromptu run to the power lines tonight, Max and I learned something very important.

If you park two Land Cruisers under high voltage power lines, especially when there is high humidity, the electro-magnetic field will encompass your vehicle and when you touch your vehicle, it will shock you. If it's dark, you will see a blue arc right before you touch the door handle.

It was pretty funny. First Max noticed it and thought he had a grounding problem on his truck. So we all took turns touching his truck and cursing after each touch. Then I was leaning on my bull bar and noticed a vibration that turned into an uncomfortable pinch. Then we all took turns touching my truck and cursing. Then I looked up and noticed the high voltage lines. Duh!

While it is true that my Kung Fu is strong , I am sure you did alright without my notable wet rock abilities. I have seen your rock climbing skillz and they are formidable to say the least.

Plus you have a winch. PM sent.
