any local "wheel repair" shops in town?
I want to convert my hub centric '97 wheels to the lug centric '94 and prior style that use the steel cone inserts. I would assume a wheel repair shop could either do it or point me in the right direction. Any ideas or shop recommendations?

Actually I just found the wheels america here in town that I was looking for. They changed their web site and moved right in my back yard here in Schertz, no longer in the old San Antonio location.
I'm still open for any ideas though. |

I've got to ask. Why?

Well my wheel spacers are lug centric and if I match the wheels there will no chance for any imbalance. With what I have now, a wheel could hypotheically move on the lugs and no longer be centered on the spacer. I would have used hub centric spacers but the hubs on the LC doesn't make that possible. Kinda crazy and probably pricey but the change will not effect the wheel in anyway.
I don't know if I'm going to do it anytime soon but just something I want to find out if it's possible. |
