Unhappy Shannon - father of TTORA in hospital

First sorry for the multiple posts from the National Board...but I wanted to make sure if you all have heard, but Shannon, the founder of TTORA, is currently in a hospital and in a coma - all steming from an accident.

Here is the thread from the National board of TTORA about Shannon. http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum...d.php?t=106628

There is a fund that has been organized and other events getting set up to help off set the up coming medical bills.

Anyways, hope you get to send him and his family good wishes or even better a card or ballon (sorry no flowers - he is in the SICU).

Thanks for reading.

Sorry to hear that Nathan. I hope he gets better soon. We met him up at the Matagorda beach clean-up, he is funny.

If everything keeps going good they move him from the ICU to a regular room in a few days. Still doing dialysis every other day to help his kidneys. Just going to time to heal, but he is getting there!

Just kinda hung around..He is still weak. but was able to talk for a while =.HOSPITAL FOOD IS CRAP..
Nothing was open at the hospital (storm had things closed) to get him some real food..I'll probably take him some Chick-Fil-A chicken noodle soup...He also was drinking sprite, so maybe take some down there next time , I had brought him Diet Coke (no crown) ....

He is still going through dialysis in the mornings that leaves him pretty tired. They are wanting more production from his kidneys to help him lose a lot of the water he is retaining.

He is in a private room on 6b now and it is a small room ...

We need to get together and make some care baskets for him and whover is staying with him...I know its gotta be tough for his family going back and forth to stay there with him...

A post card would probably lift his spirits, from what I understand he can't eat or drink just anything, he still is doing dialysis on his kidneys:

So a good 12 year aged cigar is definitely in order

J/k, I was just going to send a random assortment of things that his family and him could enjoy. I know how stressful, boring and suck ass a hospital stay a can be.

Just an update, my kidneys are still not functioning properly. The doctors say that it can sometimes take up to 6 weeks for them to start functioning like they should. Right now I'm just playing the waiting game and hoping they start working.

That's about all the typing I can muster right now....pretty tired. I'll start logging in more often though!

But, i've been through this before and i'll get through it this time as well.

So if any of y'all would like to stop by my house this saturday for a visit i'd love to have the company!

Thanks
