June Meeting 6/5

Reminder for the meeting this week.

Longhorn Cafe again, 7pm.

Let's make it a party since we are now an official TLCA chaper!

The only order of business is to nominate and/or elect two members to fill the open seats on our boad of directors.

-Benjamin

lame, you might miss the chance to be on the club's board of directors.

Which we will only hold a vote if there is a fair number of members showing up.

I hope we have a good member turn out. I would like to take a picture of all the trucks/members together to mark this mile stone. Which means Josh you need to try and come out!

My shift is over at ten, usually out by 10:30 so doesn't look good. Change the day to Friday and we can make it.

Adam that good news, what was it?

Its wasn't anything apparently.
Kevins dad said he had no problem turning the crank then tried to start it and sounded flooded so he floored the gas and it finally started.Has been fine ever since. He thinks it was some carbon built up and it finally broke down allowing it to start.

If anyone is interested in seeing before and after pics of body work done on some of Wimberly's 40's I can bring a disc but we will need a laptop to view them.

Lemme know.

Kevin

Nevermind, I printed some out. it's easier that way...

x2 - - seen them from the design stage to the finished stage and they are kicking.
If you want something different than what WImberly offers, I am sure Jayce can hook you up.

Slightly low turn out last night but nice to see those who did come out.

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are not a members only exclusive club. Our door is wide open to anyone who wants to hang out with us, absolutly no pressure to officially join. A majority of the group felt the desire to become part of TLCA, hince the implement of the bylaws, etc. However, no one should feel shy to be active with the group because they do not want to be a individual member of TLCA or an offical member of ACLC. Remember as a club we DO NOT collect any dues. Please let me know of anything I or we as a club can do to make it more appealing.

Sorry I missed this one but I had an out of town obligation. Like Ben said, we welcome anyone with a 4x4 while at the same time, celebrating our Land Cruiser heritage via the TLCA. Whether you have an Isuzu or a Land Rover, you are welcome if you have a kind heart or at least value friendship over drama. If you have a Toyota, great! Welcome aboard and see what we're all about. If you like the group, please consider joining the TLCA and officially becoming part of Alamo City Land Cruisers.
