What about putting some hills or terrain in it? Maybe overlooking the city?

Someone draw it because i can barely draw the thanksgiving palm turkey.

Nothing yet. I like the idea but it has to be simple. The star, a few trucks and the Alamo outline in the background. All have to be easy to put on a sticker or in print. I'd like to discuss this out our meeting this Thursday.

I don't recall the sticker coming up at the meeting..... There's a lot of Cruisers to go on a sticker..... Could have a sticker with a caravan of different Cruisers driving around the circle of it, and the Alamo in the center with "Alamo City Land Cruisers"..... Wish I had more time to doodle. If I am not working in La. this week, really working, I will try to sit down and hand draw something up. I am hitting the road again on Thursday in the new 100.

Here is the working logo we came up with on a banner generously donated by Jen. We have a friend who has agreed to help us with some logo artwork. Hopefully we can have something by our next meeting.

That was very kind of Jen to do! I've held off with the dealer support idea till we get TLCA charter and have a logo. That being since the first thing we should ask for is a banner but I really like the one Jen donated.

A neighbor of my parents did some artwork for me in the past and I'm going to see if he can help us out.

I was thinking we could use a Jolly Roger in the logo..... Seriously, that would be cool. Instead of crossed bones though, we could put crossed wrenches.....

I think what we need to do is make a deadline ....then put up the art work and have ever one vote for so long then close the votes.

what do you think?

and does anyone know where I can download like a trial photo shop or somthing to try and come up with somthing? otherwise I am going old school with pen and paper.

we're too laied back to set a dead line that works. Seriously though I think Jen has someone willing to work on an idea and my neighbor is. Hopefuly then in the next few weeks we'll have something nice to work with.

Bezels, and jolly roger idea have been passed to my neighbor.

I would suggest to get rid of the shading (higher cost and harder to control).
Change to simple line drawing with different thickness, maybe cartoonish, but enough to recognize the models.

That is my simple $.02 for a non-TLCA member
