Yes, the new paint made the 40 wheel beter than ever! I went over some stuff that I didn't think was possible before Moab. Pics are uploading to the server....

Did you get your oil pressure figured out before you left?

Here is a great picture that shows the diversity of Moab in the springtime. IMHO This would be a great cover photo. And it's not even my cruiser.

I'm having a heck of time resizing photos and not getting them pixelated.

Here's our group at the end of Pritchett, 3 HOURS! Must have been a land speed record for that trail and no we didn't miss anything. Almost every obstacle was done by everyone. Not everyone hit the rockpile at the end, and I did bypass can opener, not because I wasn't able to do it but with a small group and the pace we went it was an opportunity to speed to the front to get photos. Barry did an excellent job of leading! He's loud and really excited about what he's doing. He's a lot of fun to be around on the trail. He's a darn good spotter too!

X2 on the CM committee. It really is a top shelf event.

Small correction on the sat phone 'first' Thanks to our generous sponsors, River Shiver has been able to outfit our leaders with Sat phones every year that the event has been TLCA sanctioned.

Nice to see the new expedition rig performing well and finishing the event unscathed. You know who to call when you are ready for the cold weather testing.

x 2, x 2.

Great event, as always.

Would like to get the ball rolling on trails I think would be great fun for next year. In particular I really love Mashed Potatoes and "The Pickle." They can both be run in the same day-and I believe they are in fact EJS approved BLM trails, so...

4 to 4+ for both, but wonderful scenery. Just a thought. Sorry no photos, we didn't have the camera out much-Chris you have any more from MM????

Another shout to Rising Sun, I would be happy to scout do any CM07 needed on-site BLM meetings, etc, as I am so close to Moab. Let me know if I can be of help.

And props to Ben for having the gumption to not only wheel the 100, but not squeal at the sound of rock to metal

Good to meet up with you Eric. Metal Masher was fun-and I believe a successful Widowmaker is in our future ;-). Its been windy yesterday and today, I bet we may have some sand back in our holes...blow wind, blow!

If you check my avatar, that was last year, I think, my fronts have crested and the rear tires aren't even CLOSE to contacting the rock. EJS did a number on that obstacle.

Yeah, Ken's funny that way. He has this delusion that it cools better that way.

Here is the video from widowmaker. The new paint worked it's magic
I wasn't going to do it but Dan didn't want to be the only one. Thank you Dan, I am glad I tried it.

Widowmaker video

Golden Crack video

oil pressure measured fine with a mechanical, almost zero on the dash.

Just a note, the Trail Spill kits were provided to trail leaders this year by the Cruise Moab event. Kits were purchased from Blue Devil Products. We're being told by BLM officials that this may be required of participants in the future.

A series of my 80 on Rock Chucker on Metal Masher. Sort of cool because you can see all the parts of the obstacle.

Eric,

I finally saw the "4" on your tailgate. And I especially liked your Student Driver sign.

You did a great job of getting through Kane Creek. Can't be easy in a brand new truck to take it out there and abuse it. Well i guess you didn't abuse it. Must have been your trail leader Love the pic of you sitting in the back of the FJ on the laptop.

best way to resize pics for web use. right here. fifth up from the bottom on the right side. tool allows you to right click on any pic or folder and resize the image while keeping the original. of course if you're a mac user you can ignore me.

Anymore pics of that yellow FJ with the custom front bumper?

What was up with the Helicopter? I heard a truck rolled and they had to be flown out?

I'm really wishing my truck and I could have made it.

Any updates from Uncle Ben or Kevin? I know Kevin was staying extremely positive despite the issues his truck was having. First the busted pinion on the Gold Bar pre-run, the electrical fire coming off Golden Spike onto Gold Bar, and the sheared steering arm on Gold Bar after the Spike run. All I can say is Kevin better stay off Gold Bar Glad to wheel with you, hope this year doesn't leave too bad an impression. You'll get it fixed and I hope to see you next year.
