FJ Cruiser Trail Team @ Badlands April 15th & 16th!
Hoosier Cruisers is sponsoring the FJ Cruiser Trail Team at Badlands OHV in Attica, IN April 15 & 16th. The FJ Cruiser Trail Team will have 2 or 3 FJ Cruisers at Badlands to show us what they're made of. The Trail Team will put the FJC's through the paces on the same trails that we take our junk on, and a few lucky Cruiser lovers may even get the opportunity to test drive an FJC on the trails! After the wheeling is over for the day Saturday, the Trail Team and the FJC's will stay with us at the base camp to spend the rest of the night around the campfire for a cookout and BS session. We'll wake up Sunday morning and do it all over again.
Place: Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, IN. Date: April 15th and 16th Time: muster in between 9am and 10am of April 15th. Location @ Badlands: Upper Parking area. Primary Campground Location: Attica Family Campground, right next to Badlands. Some members are planning to set up camp Friday evening, so anyone coming from out of town who may want to arrive early is welcome to join in. Originally we planned on camping at the Summers Carroll Campground for their liberal alcohol policy, but due to early season maintenance we have to switch to the Attica Family Campgrounds for now. There's a possibilty that we'll still be able to use Summers Carroll, but we won't know until the week prior to the event. Watch this thread for updates please. This event is open to all who wish to attend. There may be a shortage of passenger seats open for all who can't bring their own rig due to the large interest in the FJC. If you need to ride along, please post up and reserve your seats early so can we try to accomodate everyone. Hope to see everyone there!

Noob Question
Don't let my gross post count fool ya! My net wheelin' post count is ZERO.
My question: Is there an agenda? Beyond arriving and 'mustering' at 9:00-ish on the morning of the 15th. I have nice used Michelin LTX's and no lockers... Am I expected to wheel? Thanks for steering me straight! __________________ Larry Brohman 1997 LX450 Semi-Stock (does a capful of Downey in the P/S reservoir count as a mod?), Revo's, HIRs, FIAMMs, George's LEDs, Scion tC Inside Rear View Mirror, Baselined with Mobil Synths, CDL Switch/Pin 7 Mod, Not Locked, 184k miles |

Larry,
The trails we'll be on can be bad, and can be easy. Were not going to have anyone do stupid chit they don't want to do. There's always an easier way to get thru the trail at Badlands. When I first started wheelin I was on LTX's. They worked just fine. Come on down. We'd love to have you. |

This was an awesome weekend, other than almost being blown away Friday night. After we all dried out we mangaged to get in some excellent wheeling in both Saturday and Sunday. The Toyota Trail team is one heck of a nice group and I hope I get another opportunity to hang with them. Anyway on with the pics.

Chad,
Looks like a good turn out. I heard Indy was hit real hard with hail and wind so I hope everyone is OK. How did the new ride feel? Was it all you expected? Mark __________________ '74 fj40 350 on 33's, rear locker. member Hoosier Cruisers TLCA # 13315 I was Booty before Booty was butt |

I hope they are all good there in Indy we all survived the storm on Friday night although a couple of tents paid the ultimate price. The new ride is awesome, completely different than the 80 but sweet as hell. I really need to get a set of tires though, the ones that are on it I just couldn't get any bite out of. Wish you could have made it up for the fun.

Rod, good to see you took our advice and started posting on Mud! Not that I'm a great example, but for the FJTT it's a great opportunity to keep some true enthusiasts kept up to date on what you guys are up to, and how cool the FJ is. Maybe I'll catch up with you at GSMTR, still undecided on that.

Did the FJC make it up that two step?
If so, you can pretty much put all the Wrangler vs FJC crap to rest. I've seen a LOT of Wranglers fail or explode on that two step. __________________ War Pig and the nameless 45lv "Don't you know, Stan, it's always between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich." |
