Snow Run on Sierra Pelona Trail

Hey guys,
A buddy and I hit up the Sierra Pelona Trail today, and boy was the 1st half muddy, but the rest had a nice 5-6 inches of powder all over. It’s a very easy trail, I'm running stock everything and didn’t have any problems and not a scratch.... just a lotta mud Near the top visibility was very low... at points it was less than 15 feet.. Over all very fun day...

Hope you guys enjoy the pics

Tommy

Nice pics indeed. It was a really cold, snowy day here in the northern Sierra too! BC skied in 18-24" of fresh light pow...then coming down it was thigh deep in places...

Can you give me more details on where this is exactly?
What major roads do you take to get to the trail head, etc.

thanks.

Take I-5 to the eastbound Valencia Blvd. exit in the Santa Clarita Valley. Head east about 4 miles on Valencia Blvd., and turn left ( northbound ) on Bouquet Canyon Road. You'll reach Bouquet Reservoir on your left in about 16 miles, and travel along is banks for mile or so. Begin looking to your right for a dirt road marked FS 6N08 as the reservoir begins to recede from view on the left. Turn right onto this dirt road this is the beginning of th trail..

and this is a very helpfull website also...

how far is this from the Rowler Flats trail?
I'll be there in 2 weeks.

thanks for the directions, from my house I can be there in under an hour I think.

A group is going to Rowler on the 25th, see if you can make it.
