So. Ca. TLCA – Big Bear run 3/18

Several club members are planning a run in the Big Bear area on Saturday 3/18 and are looking for anyone interested in joining us to come along. We will probably run either the Holcomb Creek or John Bull trails depending on trail conditions or how many people show up. The tentative plan is to meet in Fawskin at 8:30 and head out about 9:00. We plan to meet at a restaurant in town (I do not remember the name but there are only 2...). If interested, post up and let us know.

Otis, should be VERY interesting as it is calling for snow down to 2000-2500 ft around mid-week and lots of rain/snow on and off all week. I was on Holcomb Crk a couple of weeks ago and it was muddy!

Both will be very snowy by then. Currently, snow is all the way up to 7000 ft, but I'm sure it will drop down a lot with the 3 storms hitting the area this week.

I am not certain if the run is still on. Several members have cancelled and I have not heard back from the others that originally planned to go. If enough people do show interest in the next couple of days then we will still be going. I'll post up when I find out the status of the run.

I am not going to be able to make it. I also have not heard back from a few of the club members that had signed up to go so my guess is that the run is not going to happen. Next time I will not post up unless I have a firm commitment from several club members. Sorry...
