Directions:

33 west into GWNF and that trail is off to the left. It is called Salt Shed.

Thanks for posting up tony.
I will try to email you the video whenever i get it. Bro is swamped w exams right now but said he will get it done when he gets a chance, said he was gonna add music and stuff so it should be worth while. All his surfing videos have been very sweet so this one should be the same.

Hey Brandon, i would like that video too. I gave your bro my e-mail and it's cool if it takes a while, I'm in no hurry.

Hey Tony, do you think you could e-mail any pictures you have of me?

Nice picture, how much lift you got on that rig? You are brave to cross that water without a snorkel. Looks like you had a good time.

Noel,
Thats my truck with 2.5 inch OME.

We all got out and looked it over for about 20 minutes, the stream was flowing fast and it looked deep.

But the real credit goes to brian in his blue 60 who attempted it first, once he did it, the three 80's followed.

Tony, sweet picture of the Brandon's 80. That's some deep water. Looks like you guys have stayed busy since the CMCC in June. Well, I finally got my windshield fixed on the 4-Runner. And just switched the tires for winter. Looking forward to another run up to Paragon sometime. Later, Jeff

Riad,

Three trucks drove up the trail to dictums.
Eric, Tony, and Josh all with lifts and sliders.

After about 20 minutes of attempting the ledge with josh's locked and armored 80 we turned around. As im sure you know, the pictures do not do it justice at all and no one was looking to role their truck.

That's good to know. How much lifts and size tires did they have? Any pics?

Yes, pictures are deceiving. Good to hear no one rolled. Josh looked like he almost made it. I was at the exact position but could not go any further due to my top heavyness. I tried a different line (the right most) but rolled anyway .

Good wheeling guys! Definitely next time I am coming.

I thought about trying Dictum, but I knew I was going nowhere. Josh was close, but yet sooo far from making it. The bottom is all slickrock and the leaves didn't help. PLus trying to not roll, means taking the harder line to the left.

My truck has about 2.5" of suspension, 1" of body, sliders, skids and rear locked.

It was a blast. Great day trip with no carnage---gotta love sliders.

haha...
The snow melted some. I have some nice, minor rear bumper carnage. A few good scraps and some chunks of paint missing.

It is super high clearance for not being tubular. Can't imagine what stock would have looked like

Missed out again... I hate the down time with the truck half in/ out of paint.

I should have known something was up when I spotted Rick heading north on 81 just above Woodstock.

Great Pic's

BTW... Brian call me next time so I can ride shotgun. Nice snorkel!

Tyler seemed pretty stoked to go when I saw him on Friday....I was wondering if you guys were gonna hit the river or not. I spend most of the day on Saturday on the backhoe working out at our cabin a few miles south of where you were....I'm thinking of a february snow run and we'll stay out at the cabin....any dates good or bad?
