RMLCA River Shiver

When?
February 17-20, 2006;
http://www.rmlca.ab.ca/rivershiver/index.html

Where?
Just outside of Calgary Alberta (Canada eh?)

Some pictures of last year;
http://www.rmlca.ab.ca/runs/rs2005/index.html

Yes non-LC's are allowed to come. In fact, the truck that spanked most of the other trucks and trails was a Toyota p/u running chains.

Early bird price is $225 Cdn which gets you 9 meals, 3 nights accomodation, and 2 days of winter wheeling.

The only TLCA sanctioned event North of the border!

An awesome time!!!

Craig

I'm impressed you drove all the way to Pismo!

If you do this event next year too, I may just come North.

But I also did it in 2003 in my 42. Does that count?

The route to River Shiver? Yes it's driveable. There are no ice roads which may melt on you so you can't get across to the Great White North.

Come on down (or up, I guess) to Canada. Better beer.

Craig.

Yup, that's probably the best route for you; that's the route I would take from Vancouver. Bad conditions can close the Coquihalla (between Hope and Kamloops) and the section along Revelstoke-Golden-Banff can get ugly, but they try hard to keep it open.

Drive BC Highway Info

Yup, there are a few of us. You are welcome to join up if the dates work for us all. When we get closer we should have a better count and know plans.

Just a friendly reminder that our Early Bird Registration is now closed, and there's only 26 more days to register. Check out your copy of the trails, and get your registration in TODAY while there's still time!

How many sign-ups so far? ...About 1/2 our registrations have been filled during the 'early bird' registration period. Historically, we seem to have a flood of last minute registrations.

I just checked the registrations and we have room for a maximum of 12 more trucks. Personally, I don't care if any other people show up because, with about 50 people vying for the raffle prizes, my odds of winning something cool are really good. Our sponsors have been really good to us. We currently have way over $6000 worth of prizes!

We'd like to thank our major sponsors for the cool donations.
