Bike rack wont be on. Look for 6'4" goateed dude with ear to ear grin and dropped jaw!
How does the Pozo Run work out? Will my stocker with running boards get hammered?
Thinking of getting a jockey box and some small kegs from the local breweries to bring up. is that kosher for an event? or should I keep it on the down low?

The Pozo Run is pretty easy. In fact, it's more fun if wet. Otherwise it's just a forest service road. Beautiful scenery!

If you want to keep it hidden i'll be there with my OD green trailer, and would be oh so helpful in the stashing/drinking of your brew

As for the flag thing, only non-street vehicles have to have them. If you have a License plate on your pig, you're ok without one.

JIM if you need me on thursday let me know.

Can't wait to see all of you guys again, My FJ 44Magnum is ready to play!

Ok, I have to wonder because I only see guys talking on this forum. I've snuck on as NorCalSam serveral times and never see women. Aren't there any cruiser chicks out there? After all, as much time as he spends on this forum, how could I not want to check it out. It addicting. Maybe I need my own atavar. NorCal Sam talks alot about my cruiser. Hope to meet some great people at Pizmo and see some cool mods. I keep tracking our snorkel shipment on Fed EX and it has been back and forth from sac to chico twice. I think they must be fondeling it or something at the warehouse's. Looking forward to pizmo. Norcal Sams wife, Teresa

That's a cool post.
Teresa, there are alot of women that go to Surf N Turf or on trips. The norcal women made a landcruiser forum called 'landcruiserwives' on yahoo I think...(sorry dont have the link) but you can meet them at SnT!

Agreed - it's more fun wet. My son and I did it this past summer for yucks after visiting Ken Hanna for sliders and swinging back by the Pozo Saloon for lunch. It's just a dusty fire road in the summer. The creek/stream/river on the Pozo side was nothing but a trickle.

PabloVTA - I ran this last year in a bone stock OEM '94. No worries at all unless you are trying to keep up with the NorCal guys! They haul arse over everything.

Joe A.

dang, some of us work late! hehe
The 80 is coming along, it's fun. It will be the first offroading for it at SnT, that's good luck I think
It's only a few weeks old-to-me but it's already had the golden touch by fellow Cruiserheads so I consider it "blessed" for it's new life w/ me!

It will be good to see everyone, esp the SLO guys!!

James started jonesing for an 80 when I first met him at SnT 2 years ago. It took him long enough

Ammo, yeah Milt is the guy who rolled. He has a great story of the comeback buildup! He is also driving around in a silver 02 Taco (but I think its for work and dd duty, no mods). Anyway, you'll see him there. He lives down the road from Pismo.

silvercruiser, yeah with your lights? sure! You cracked me up last time.

Doug,

Yaa, looking forward to another night run. Want to test out my new IPF lights. Last time I caught some good air, felt like Michael Jordon

I live and work on the beach every day and now I am getting ready to drive 5+ hours so I can wheel on it. Does this sound right to anyone? Anyway, looking forward to my first SnT. Who's driving from San Diego? Anyone? Anyone?

Several folks from the Beach N Toys TLCA chapter are coming. And, a handful of others I can think of.

Just paint "Surf n Turf or BUST" on your wagon and wave at all the cruisers you see on the road.

I've made the trip to San Diego many times, five hours is a good "cruiser" estimate. But it always seems quicker in my Camaro.

You've got Boston Mangler from the SD area coming. Don't know if Blupaddler is coming this year and you'll be passing right by me in Laguna Niguel. I don't plan on leaving until 4:30-5ish on Saturday morning. It makes for a much quicker drive up. Still get to the dunes about 9 or right about when everyone is waking up from the Friday night drunk debauchery!

Let me know if you want to meet up Saturday morning.

Was going to say Boston Mangler as well. I'm also leaving around 5 am from Los Angeles. You'll be able to spot either Brent, or I easily-just look for the rear tire carriers not that many cruisers have them.

You want to meet somewhere near Magic Moutain Victor, say the Wendy's right there around 6? That time of morning it will take me about 1 1/2 hours to get there.

Yes.

Figured Magic Mountain would be easier. There's a Marie Calendar's there right at the exit as well.
