Are all you Yanks just coming for the day...or are you going to camp out on Sat night, and do the trail ride on Sunday?
Dunno how many Coastal Cruisers are gonna camp either, however some exploring has been done in anticipation... There is a camp fire ban that just came into effect... gb |

Bull, driving up the 60. Didn't get a chance to do the wheel bearings or carb like I had hoped. Besides, it has A/C if it gets hot
.If all else fails, we could meet up at the rest area past Alrington and Marysville. __________________ '87 FJ60 2FTBI, '73 FJ40, '72 FJ55, '66 FJ40, M416A1 www.olympiafj60.net www.eastolympiacruisers.com |

wannabe and would like more info about the trails/camping. What time (approx) will the wheelin be done? Will there be trails suitable for stock rigs and novice offroad drivers? Thanks. __________________ '90 HDJ81 for sale soon: '90 Trooper past: '76 FJ55 - more rust than steel; still miss it |

We're planning to meet up at one of the camp sites on Chehalis Lake after the event on Saturday. Don't know yet how many of the locals will be camping Saturday night, but there will be some of us for sure. We will then wheel all day on Sunday, breaking up into groups who have similar vehicle/driver capability and then meeting up again in the evening. It's going to be fairly casual, and hopefully lots of fun. Mostly hoping to see lots of Cruisers there and meeting a bunch of you from MUD. __________________ Stone's Land Cruiser & Flyfishing Pics Flyfishing British Columbia: www.flyfishbc.com bcfishingreports.com |

Yup, a good day exploring for sure!
I am not going be able to lead a trail, tail gun, or camp out. I have been trying and trying to get my Satuday night shift covered, however it is not going to happen. If I am not up all night with calls I will show up in the morning...but with the way nightshifts have been lately... We have a Coastal Cruiser meeting on Thursday night...more will be finalized then. gb __________________ WANT A TOYOTA DIESEL ENGINE? I'll be camping and wheeling, though I am not local, but consider myself an ex-local! I'll probably end up doing some of the easy to mild trails, as I need to drive 14 hours home after wheeling. I can lead if nead be.

It's a bit of a last minute decision, but it looks like a friend and I will be coming out from Edmonton. We'll leave after work on Friday and show up bright and early in the morning. Both of us have to be back for Monday so I think we'll have to pass on the trail rides on Sunday. But maybe we'll do a little bit of exploring on Saturday evening. I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces as well as meeting new ones..
We're up for camping the Saturday night if there's room! See you all there.. Daryl P.S. If anyone needs anything Cruiser-expressed from Edmonton or area let me know ASAP.. __________________ 1987 HJ61VX - "Oreo Speedwagon" - 33"s, 4" Terra lift, PTO, 352,000k 1978 BJ40 - "Babe" - The pretty one. I can't come.I just can't rationalize the day off of nightshift in a middle of a shutdown and the 5 hours travel each way (goverened by the ferries). Oh well. Next year. Have fun.

Well, tomorrow's the big day. I wonder who will be the one to take this home and put it up on their wall?

Thanks to all who contributed to making this event happen. It was nice to meet some of you and to see all the great rigs. Too bad that I couldn't stay over for the camp out and trail rides.
Thanks, -Steve __________________ '90 HDJ81 for sale soon: '90 Trooper past: '76 FJ55 - more rust than steel; still miss it |
