5th Annual Chicago Toyota Jambo @ The Cliffs, July 22, 23, 24.
5TH ANNUAL
CHICAGO TOYOTA JAMBOREE
JULY 22, 23, & 24.
AT
Cliffs Insane Terrain
IN MARSEILLES IL
This is going to be simple and cheap again this year.
Wheeling:
Normal Cliffs rates.
Im not 100% sure what they are right now or what they will be at the time of jambo, but I do know right now they are much lower than last years.
Camping:
$15/site flat rate for the weekend. So second night is free. (site=1 tent or RV)
Primitive: No water, no hookups of any kind. If you need a hook up we should be able to find you a spot down in the parking lot somewhere. Check with me first if you need one.
Port-o-pots will be in camp.
Camp site will be a new spot this year, nice and secluded, just on the other side of the fence. (so outside the park.)
Food: This year there will not be food provided in the park other than the normal snack shack for lunch on saturday and sunday. So bring your grills.
Local food options:
Couple miles East has a subway and whatever else is in down town Seneca (not much)
Couple miles West has Burger King and a breakfast diner and a few other things in down town Marseilles.
A few more miles East or West and you will hit Ottawa (West) and Morris (East), these towns have everything.
Loose Schedule:
Friday:
Arrival starts at 9am.
Free roam of the park until 5pm.
**Park closes at 5pm. You should be off the trail by 5pm, so the Staff can make sure everyone who is not with the event is out of the park. Grab a bite to eat.
**There will be the typical evening shenanigans, and maybe a night run. Night runs MUST be in groups for safety reasons. No solo night running.
Saturday:
This year Saturday will be more of a free run, as most event attendees are familiar with the park. However, if this is your first time at the park, I suggest being at the park no later than 9am if you want to hook up with a group. If you show up later, don’t be surprised if you don’t see any of us in the lot or at camp. Though it’s likely some of us (besides the staff) will be around somewhere.
Wheeling until 5pm.
**There will be the typical evening shenanigans, and maybe a night run.
Sunday:
Free roam of the park.
I think that about covers it, post up if you have any questions.
BE SURE TO CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES!
Little more discussion here
5th Annual Chicago Toyota Jambo @ The Cliffs, July 22, 23, 24.

Sounds like a rockin good time to me
Can't miss this event
I've been to them all so far
Weather reports from last year don't count as forecasts
But you are prolly right on the mark
