The LAST SnT - 2011

Rumor is, the 2011 SnT event on Pismo Beach will be the FINAL one ever...if you are setting your 2011 calendar, I suggest making plans for this event...it has been amazing in the past, and this final run should top them all!

Dates for the event (tentative) are November 4-6, 2011...

chop your tops, pack your coolers, stretch your straps, air down those tow rigs, batten the tents, and prepare to celebrate!

We are planning on attending again.

This time, with a trailer in tow, hopefully.

On a side note, are there any plans for someone else (or a group) to step up and carry the torch?

Jim's comment was something like why not quit while we're ahead, go out on a high note. While I kinda understand his philosophy, there should be a replacement of some kind, IMO.

Jim and I talked about this while packing up the beach and unloading at his house. Something will happen, maybe not SnT in it's current form, or maybe not SnT at all...and maybe not run by Jim. Who knows...but we'll see how it shakes out.

I would love to do a Cruiser event at Johnson Valley, there is lots of non destructive wheeling outside of the Means/Boone Rd area, But SNT/Pismo is such a great location for California folks from all ends of the state and the event is really about the people hanging out VS a all out wheeling event. One way or the other its some tough shoes to fill.

Been going since '04 with a stock truck back then. Truck isn't stock any longer and I wouldn't miss the ultimate event for anything!

Everyone needs to bring a bottle of Tequila for Jim too!
