Copper Canyon- Sierra Madre Expedition, Part one

Doron and I completed an incredible expedition through the Sierra Madre Occidental of CHIH Mexico this last fall. I have been able to finish part one, which describes our trek from the AZ border to the bottom of Batopilas Canyon and the "lost cathedral" at Satevo.

The Toyota's exceeded our expectations (as always) as we drove over 270 miles off-highway on uninproved roads, narrow trails and deep water crossings to our final destination on the coast of the Sea of Cortez.
