Just finishing packing...should be on the road in an hour. For those approaching from the south around the same time, look for a dune beige FJ40 with a Paki-Top.

Amaurer and I are headed out tomorrow morning around 7am... unless someone can explain the joys of arriving and setting up at around 10/11pm, I could be tempted.
In either event, look for two 82 BJ42s with steering wheels on the wrong side of the truck.

WOW! Uh, I mean just wow. What a time had by all and excellent leadership by Jim, Alvaro, the tow crew getting into camp (trailer was loaded down a little too much) and everyone who helped. I'll be back but on Wednesday next year.

Told my wife to call me if the water got close..........................
When we got there on Thursday afternoon we were 100 yards off the beach, a huge swell came up on Sat, and changed things, by the time the tide went out we had 100 feet. All that sand was gone.
Most of the lower camps had some form of drama.

*BTW, to the two traveling souls that were headed down there Friday in the silver pickup w/ the shell and the "well pinstriped" 80 series, I wish I could've had more time to chat after you picked up your parts from Fremont Toyota, but I was running late and needed to scoot off to a prior engagement.
