Badlands on 12/4/04

All,

Hey there. It was really nice to meet everyone at Badlands from the Chicago and Wisconsin areas. I have picutres that I took at Badlands on 12/4/04. If you want some please let me know and I can email them.

Ali,

I really admire your rig. I have started a wish list on what I would like to do with mine based on looking at yours.
Also, I researched the GPS that you talked about. Microsoft vs. DeLorme. I think I will go with DeLorme 2005 because it's got some better features over MS 2005.

Regards,

Jim,

Thanks dude. It was a pleasure wheeling with you as well. Hope your rocker nocker wasn't too bad I trust you'll have a set of sliders for next time?

I agree with your GPS software assessment...Delorme SA2004 seems to have more GPS related features and the colors and characters are more brilliant to look at when you want to take a quick glance. You can install both and just run the data CDs to save space. Do keep in mind that Mic S&T isn't set up for a GPS that is USB driven. You'll have to download a 3rd party GPS software application driver from Delorme to make it work with the Earthmate USB GPS.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Ali

Hey Jim, if you've got any of my black 'n white 4runner, I'd like to see those. Other pics too (group pics, interesting others...) I can probably handle whatever Megs you can give me. I won't post my email for fear of spam, but it is in my profile.

Thanks,
Kenton

I have a gang of wheelers here locally we are trying to put together a badlands trip I will keep you guys posted. We are thinking sometime in Jan. I have some work to do,headgasket on brother in laws nissan, flex plate on 86 at 4 runner, figure out why the battery goes dead on a 60, and help install 5.71s in an 83 mini. They helped me finish my basement now I have to go to work. Headed out for toys for tots with the 40. I will put the pics up when I get home. Last year I could count the toyotas on one hand.

Jan 15th is Customers Appreciation day at Badlands. Bring an old receipt and gain free entry. FYI.
