Uwharrie December 4th

Alright fellas, lets do it right this time. We need some cruiser representation out there. I have spoken with a few of the nc4x4.com fellas that i wheeled with last weekend and they want to go too. Should be a good time.

For those who are wondering, i have 2.5 inch lift with 33's and ran everything with no problems. Needed sliders to try a few things but all in all, a stock truck especially with lockers will do just fine.

Start getting your act together so we can have a fun run in December.

I'm in!

I'd love to run Uwharrie, I haven't been all year(normally make it down 5-8 times a year). I'll have to see what my schedule looks like and see if I can get some sort of decent tires on by then. My bald Bridgestone Dueler APTs just aren't gonna cut it

Damn wolfpack, I swear I didn't intentionally copy your sig format

BTW, how is Kodak this year? I tried it two years ago before the big hunk fell out and got completely and totally denied in my Cherokee. I tried it last year after the hunk had fallen out, and if it hadn't been muddy or if I had been locked up front, I think I could have gotten it. Has it changed any?

Ary

Wolfpack, i'll try it. The fella i met there last weekend with nc4x4.com is starting on my sliders tonight! So if they are on, i'll be game. Went around last time.

concrete, did you do the rock garden below Kodak? or just bypass the whole thing? If you bypassed, did you go to the left of Kodak or to the right and then cut across in front of Kodak?

Went to the left. I followed Bruce and a bunch of other fellas around down there since that was my first time. I really couldn't even tell you what trails we rode. It was funny watching a bunch of jeeps trying it. ONe jeep was running 37 and locked front and back and he walked up it. Three jeeps behind him barely made it, one having to be winched. THe sad thing is they all had lockers and of the 4 jeeps with lockers, the lockers in only one of the jeeps worked.

Wish I could make it this weekend.... but I'm picking up a 94 Supra TT six speed in MA.... :-)

Maybe another run before they're completely closed? Sunday, the 5th? Hmmm???

Kodak Rock is officially the rock I'm on in my sig pic... the one above Kodak (the area previously referred to as the rock garden) is called Budweiser Rock... and yup.. my 80 has walked that area too....

Kodak isn't too bad.. Daniel is a walk in the park...

Last time we were there I went up BOTH the middle and the right lines.. then up the "hard " right line at the top... IN REVERSE. ha ha ha.... TOO easy.

I can't make it on the 4th, but my Off-road club here at Clemson University is planning on going the 12,13,14 of december. The 13th is when we will do most of the wheeling, so if any of you guys want to come out then that'd be awesome, cause I will be the lone cruiser in a hoard of heeps...................

Got the engine(I ended up buying a rebuilt one from urbanlandcruisers), getting the tranny this week if all goes well. I might pull an allnighter friday to get the engine and tranny in so I can take the 40 to the UPstate meeting sat morning.

man, you guys suck. I'm going, and i posted on the nc4x4 board, and i think several of those guys are going as well. Really dissappointed, it looks like i'm the only one who will have a cruiser at uwharrie, again. How about a ride in August?

Sweet toy. I was getting worried. I told the folks over at nc4x4 to be meet at the outpost at 10:30. That gives guys plenty of time to get up and drive down.

What??? Daniel IS a walk in the park... EVEN in the rain... I'd rate it a 2 trail out of 5.... you my friend, have apparently never been to Moab, Dayton, or Tellico....

Kodak is the hardest thing out there, and it's not that hard.... :-D

Have fun you guys!

J
