Dude,
Any night is pizza night if you just mention it...There's a pizza-by-the-slice place a block from the Rubicon. They even have vegan pizza and always have something good on tap. "Pieces Pizza", a hundred yards south of Capitol on 21st. street. We could dine and pre-lube there, stroll over to the Rubicon when we're good and ready.
I hate to be the first to say it, but...one does get tired of the Rubicon's menu over time.
Don't get me wrong, I never tire of the IPA. They make the best beer in Midtown. I've been frequenting the Rubicon for 20 years now. Coincidentally, they're celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. I was there on opening night. But, by now, we are all aware of the Rubicons shortcomings.
Also, there is some very good imported beer at "Streets of London" a few blocks north-west of the Rubicon...and slightly better food and slightly better group accommodations.
I can do this Rubicon Tuesday every week. Once a month fits my schedule too.
First Tuesday, second Tuesday....whatever. Perhaps we need some intensive research before we settle on one place or another...or a rotating selection..."Bar of the Month" type thing...you make a suggestion, we meet there, we discuss.
This could take years.....

Im feeling what your laying down, I will second "streets of london" for the next stop on the Cruiser Dudes whirlwind tour to mac down and consume fine brew!
The rotating schedule for establishments is a fine one and should be implemented at once!

Great-never been to Streets of London and would love to visit. Maybe we need a pub crawl/cruise with DDs of course.

I like the pub crawl type of thing, Midtown Sac is good for that 'cause it's flat and everything is close.
Tentative plans:
Plan A: First Tuesday of January (the 6th?), Streets of London. It's on J st., cross street is 18th I think. Beer is more expensive there. Parking in back as well as on the street.
Plan 2: Start at Pieces Pizza, eat and have a draft. Walk over to the Rubicon for a draft, walk on over to Streets of London for a draft.

I think we are enlightened enough to do all of the above.
The 3 spot crawl will test the capacity tho....
Looking forward to it.
