Can I be there in spirit?
I know Pighead has his laptop right on the table...
Are you sure Miss Studebaker is not there....
Are you just hiding her?
Have fun. Just got off of work. I'm going to have a delicious Red Stripe in all of your honors!
Cheers.

You are correct sir. Tonight's impromptu gathering was simply a dry run...a dress rehearsal. Just to case the joint. And 'cause some people simply couldn't wait another week...

Wow, beno, you nailed that one. Pighead DOES have his laptop right there on the table, looking at 'Mud...as evidenced by the middle photo.
Miss Studebaker was not in attendance, not to say that our service was lacking, but we did inquire about her. Often.
Oh, the bad news...pints are now $2.50 on Tuesdays.

Arghh.....jealous....I see BK, and Iron-Goddess made it along with the rest of the younger Stayner family, Em and Jen....love the color ladies... I miss Ophelia. I felt a real sense of connection with Ophelia at SnT.
Can I take a rain check...totally jealous right now....slept for four hours, and woke up considering Cruiserdan needs my attention in a few hours so I can send out parts for all of the daily mudders...
Can we make this a weekly event?

Cheers, beno. Today is, like, Thursday. So we got, like, what? 5 days before I pick you up at The Sac International Airport....any ol' time of day is good. as long as it's early.
Also, what we need for a successful mid-town Rubicon run is warm bodies...gotta get there early, gotta spread out and claim tables for the late-comers.
Inside or outside depends on the weather, the crowd and what tables Ms. Studebaker is serving....
Also, we need a real camera, and more laptops. I envision a "Live from the Rubicon Tuesdays" thread.
So make it happen, beno. You talk a good game, let's see what you can really do. If you need a hall pass from C. Dan, I can write you a note. Heck, I'll call C. Dan on Monday and order a little plastic clip for holding down the hood hold-up rod for a '74 FJ55...and say it's an emergency...a road-side emergency. And insist that you, beno, deliver it to my broke-down road-side spot...conveniently at 20th & Capitol, in Midtown Sac...I'm sure C.Dan will cut you some slack to make a sale...even a 25 cent sale.
Also, I'm thinkin' about taking the Pig on over to the Rubicon...park in front with a sleeping bag in the back. Bring some firewood, have a bonfire out by the street, between the bikeracks. shouldn't be a problem...

That's early. Is that the official meeting time? I don't think I can make it until 7 or so.

Andy,
By the time I get there, it will be 6pm. It just means I'll be a brew ahead of you.

Cool. Jeff and I will be there as early as possible as we'll need some dinner. Amy has a class and won't be home until late.

I took those pics with with my iPhone, no flash.
The idea was to post them inmediately. But someone's battery died.
We'll have better luck today.
