Osage City Kansas

From Dave;s house I had a short trip to Marc's house in Osage City Kansas what a great guy and meeting his son Jake was very cool When I pulled up there was Marc standing in the street waiting for me hankshakes were made and I shared my story with Marc another great Cruiser Family member. We took a tour of the big city and his family farms and headed home Jake had a baseball tryout so I had time by myself to shower ( another great story ) but tell your sister Thanks for helping me out Very nice gal. I was soooo tired I crashed early before they got home but met Marc's with his wife the next morning before i left , passed out somemore swag and headed for Effingham, Kansas my free day to explore some family history. That story I am saving for TT sorry. Marc Thank you and your family for everything I really enjoyed seeing your 45 and 55 project's the stickers will be proudly posted on my Cruisers ANYONE passing thru Kansas needs to stop and see what they have to offer there a wonderful state and GREAT people.

Did you trailer the 45 to deer valley after driving it halfway across the US, or was that a different 45 I saw on 50 in Sacramento today? Hint, I was driving the black and gold 80 with bikes and a kayak on the roof and towing a tent trailer. We had prior plans that did not include Deer valley.

From Osage City I had a free day to enjoy a relaxed pace and check out some family history which you will have to read about in the mag that picks up the story, Thursday night I made it into Iowa HOT DAM WE MADE IT !!!!!! after checking in with the Local Toyota Dealer who if you have not heard really took care of me and the 45 I spent the night in Des Moines relaxing and finding a place that served tenderloin OMG that was great Thanks Chappy for the heads up !! the next morning I made it to the dealership who kept the 45 locked up for me overnight and it just gets better. But I have to take a break and get some stuff done around the house today mare later Rob
