Mike, I registered 1+3 so I'm sure you'll have a spot to ride.

I can drive Woodro's 40 in the hopes of rolling it and you can drive my 80.

AJ,
I have a little surprise for you

I registered for 9am each day for difficult, but since I am driving down on the 5th (likely hung over) I will probably miss the 9am ride on the 5th. Maybe I will hop on later...

BTW saturday the 5th is "ride til 9pm" in the park!! Though I think attica is light till almost 10pm. It will still be nice for us campers.

Usually all of us stay at summers "down the road" about 5 miles. I will be at summers.

After talking to cruiser Clint and Gumby today it looks like I will be heading down on friday afternoon and setting up camp. Hopefully I wont regret skipping the 4th at home...though I figure Indianians should have more 4th of july fun then us Chicagoans, were they have outlawed all but the match!

Since we are wheeling on a mysterious off-site private land, I just want to clarify. Where's the rally site on Saturday? It seems that most of us are camping at Summers the night before, so are we supposed to meet at the park or are the teams coming to the campgrounds? What time should we be ready? Is it Saturday yet?

Clint

Put a rebuild on that motor yet?

toyota should send a team to autopsy that thing and find out what the Hell makes it stand up to that kind of abuse.

got my 40 assembled and loaded just a few minutes ago...even washed it Chris Nelson will be using it all day Saturday and Sunday for his winching and recovery demonstrations....figger there aren't many other FJ40's in the country that have been winched upright as much as mine....lol

75 is stayin home....bummed, but I've only got 2 places on the trailer...considered having it driven down, but no time to get registration started for it....GONNA drive it some next week tho, can't wait!

the 80 is gettin trailered down as well...brakes are mushy (which is why no one is driving it), exhaust is rotted and makin noise, etc....HATE the fact that it's been sittin outside for the past 5 months, and rarely driven.... It's going to also be on 'display' as the feature vehicle for the eShots photos....

Headin out tomorrow morning...Holiday Inn in Lafayette for the weekend....

is the un-official prime-rib night gonna be on Friday or Saturday?

(this was an option for coming down too...almost installed a winch on the 75 to have it for the recovery demo!)

I'll be at Summers on Friday night. Let me know if there is anything anyone needs/wants. I will be bringing Upland beers (Bloomington, IN homebrew).
I have extra tents. Do we want to to do a cookout or anything for the 4th?

Fireworks?

Booze?

Steaks?

snacks?

What should we plan?

Cheers,
ben

Good times, bad pig.

At least I found the problem and it's an easy fix. I'll drop in a new injector today and probably change the plugs and oil after dumping a full tank down in one day.
