This weekend? 6/6 thru 6/8?

Anyone? Anything? Central / Northern Cal area...

The group I was going with cancelled.

I have a fresh skid plate from Slee I want to scratch up.

I thought about maybe heading up into the Plumas.

Anyone game?

After all those hints I was dropping about wrenching on my front end, you're still not going to come over and drink my beer? Pfffft...

Wheeling uses too much $4+ gas. I'm just going to work on mine from now on.

Headed up to Utica, Slick Rock trail. Anyone wanna meet me?

Talked to a ranger and she said the road was open and nice.

I will be alone.

Just really want to get outside.

I read some about the trail. Sounds cool. No winch and no ham radio? Careful. Should be some friendly jeepers around, I suppose. Call if you need the cavalry. I won't be able to do it myself, but I could at least post. PM if you don't have my number, but I think you do. Enjoy!

I picked up my diff gasket at the dealer this am. That was the last part, I think. I need to rent something to pull seals. By Sunday night I should be bleeding pretty, clean new brakes...

No winch?

Are you crrrrrrazy?

Haven't I been on like three trips with you?

I have done the trail a few times. Once in this rig, my 40 and my old Tacoma.

If it gets too sketchy, I won't proceed, but thanks for the offer of help and good luck with the seals!

John

No Rubithon for me this year. I am going down the Snake River.

You know if I am around, I will lend a hand. If the job remains after Sunday, let me know...

Have fun in the SC hills.

I don't pay that much attention to the station wagons, I guess, at least not past the cooler. New 4:88s too, right? You'll be alright, I suppose.

LOL.

Well, if anyone gets the itch. I will be camped by the creek on the Utica side of Slick Rock.

You know what my rig looks like.
