Highway 4 Central CA
Looking for any info on snow depth and conditions up Highway 4 past Big Trees. Iam looking to go up weekend after this.

Stanislaus NF apparently doesn't post road conditions on their website...
 A bit north of there, much of the backcountry is still under snow, believe it or not... Eldorado National Forest - Current Conditions __________________ nial, Hippie teleboarder. I read that Ebbets Pass is open as of this weekend.

As of last week Caltrans did not say the road was closed for winter.

The pass is open! Fished Lake Alpine Monday and saw plenty of traffic headed over the hill.
