lathamb, great pics and nice meeting you as well! It's easy for me to make the four hour cruise, but you and brownbear showed some serious dedication! I really like the first pic with me and Heepeter on that ledge. The caption should be, "On your mark, get set..."

x2 Brian. We were fortunate enough to camp right next to them (and Levi). It's people like that that made this not only my family's 1st Cruise Moab, but 1st of MANY!!!

P.S. Of course, it was nice meeting you as well. PM me with the name of that cool grill thing you made lunch (worm sandwiches) on please! That thing was cool!

Ouch, great shots though. That 55 was a lot of fun to watch on the trail.

And finally one video clip with VooDoo on Green Day with a reminder to photographers -- pick a spot well removed from the obstacle and use the camera's zoom for a close-up view

George's truck is, I believe an '84 extended cab. It has the 22RE engine, stock five-speed tranny and dual Marlin boxes with the low gears. The wheelbase has been stretched to 116" and he has custom Alcan springs. The front axle is a Toyota-D60 hybrid and the rear is stock Toyota. Both have 4.80 gears and Detroit lockers. The long wheelbase is near perfect for Moab and the suspension works exceptionally well. Plus.....the old geezer knows how to drive it.

When we left Moab, Tony and Phil were scheming for Tony to buy George's old set of sticky Krawlers. I hope that deal comes to pass for Tony.
