Box Canyon/Coke Oven/Battleaxe trail - AZ

My brother-in-law and I had a blasted time on Box Canyon/Coke Oven/Battleaxe trail.

Thank to Shotts for trail tips.

Until the very last leg after 20 miles offroad, at the bottom of the White Canyon basin on the wet creek bed, there was a anvil shape rock and it ripped my tire valve.
I changed with spare tire and in order to take a easier route, I went back and that damn same rock ripped the second tire valve, hard to avoid under wet condition.
With only one hour left of sunlight, the black tape was used to plug the hole where the brass thread used to be there. We barely limped out of the basin into the forest service road, repumped about three times until we got to the gas station 15 miles away.
Lucky there was a huge commerical tow truck driver who just happened to stop by for a soda refreshment, giving us a lift back to Phoenix while my spare tire is hanging from the 40,000lbs rated tow lift.

The route has to be change twice due to spring flood washout as shown on google Earth screenshot.

New checklist: Two spare stem valves!

Cheers,

Yes, my stock rear bumper will not see other offroad action again!

I am told that my 100 series rear bumper w/ tire carrier made by 4x4labs is ready for shipment which I have ordered last summer.

Cheers,

It better be ready..... a year?? wow.

I decided to go with the Slee over the ARB because I like that it allows full view of the rear lamps.
