Interesting trails around Phoenix, AZ?
Is there a interesting trails around Phoenix, AZ that we can go and come back on the same day?
My family will visit my sister for a few days in a week and she just move in this area recently so they have no local knowledge. Is there some kind of trial that ended up in summits for vista viewing? You can go wheeling north of 87 (Beeline Hwy) here:
phoenix, az - Google Maps I don't know what it's called. Post up in the local AZ forum: AZ- Copper State Cruisers - IH8MUD.com Forum You can do Sedona as an all-day trip too. No better vistas anywhere... __________________ トヨタさん、ありがとうございました。 My '78 FJ40 - '73 and '78 FJ40 parts FS - WTB:Olive (653) Bib and Windshield frame -- Originally Posted by Woody grow up people, before I start banning...a lot..... |

You can also check out our database of reviews over on AZFJ, there are some "just out of town" runs you could do such as Montana Mountain or Bloody Basin, Coke Ovens, etc. All depends on what you are looking for. Have fun!

Thank for the info!
It looks like Coke Ovens Runs is an ideal run for all day then back to Chandler, 55 miles away with my brother in law. Yes, we will go up to Sedona afterward to hit some trails such as Broken Arrow then leave Sendona thru Schnebly Hill Rd on way to Flagstaff. There is no way I can go back to the Bay Area without touching those trails!
