U.P. labor day weekend?

Anyone heading up there for the holiday weekend? I've never been to the Lake Superior side so having a local tour guide is a bonus

We're looking for places to camp up there so let me have some ideas. If the wife can go then we'll bring the pop up trailer otherwise it'll be just me.

I'd head up to Copper Harbor...you can toodle around on some of the logging roads. Head up to Houghton and Hancock and then out to McClain's State Park...

ah...the memories of Michigan Tech

My club -the Trolls- are heading to Soo Canada for the weekend. The U.P. is nice, but there are many more good trails in Canada. PM me for details.
