Colorado - Casual scenic trails near G.Junction

Going to be in grand junction with a little free time and wanted to know if anyone could suggest some good scenic trails not too far away.
The truck is fairly built but i'm more concerned with good sites and photo opportunities.
I've been searching around online but my hotel connection isn't great.

Thanks in advance

Your 90 minutes from Moab, thats where I would go if I hadn't been there before.

Romer, or anyone else.

Would you suggest any specific trails out there that wont take all day and will be mild/moderate.

I'm going to look around tonight online for some potential trails but if my schedule doesnt allow it i'm definitely going to hit moab up when i come back in june/july.

I've been to CO 5 times but always in the winter, looking forward to a warm weather visit.

21 Road.

I did a good portion of it with a rented stock Jeep Wrangler last July.

I am not the familiar with the western slope. I know there are a bunch or trails, just don't get out there. If your closer to denver when you come out in the summer, you could probably link up with a club run.

i have only been to grand junction once but i can heartily recommend the trail that heads west out of town, and leads to the fantastic taco truck parked as i recall just outside of the city limits. im serious, muy bueno tacos and thats from a conneisiuer (sp) of the genre. to be honest it was the best thing i saw in grand junction but maybe i just didnt stay in the right place!

one love
