Wheel & Shoot 3/7/2008

Going out to BLM behind Hollister, CA to shoot and wheel a bit (nothing hard at all, mostly just very bumpy dirt roads).

Myself and 1 or 2 others from the board.

Any Kali folk interested in joinging up for a day?

We will be camping also.

I am camping Friday and Saturday. Don't know about the rest of the pack.

If you can squeak out some time, you are welcome.

It is legal to have 20 rd mags so long as they are pinned and cannot accept more than 10 rounds

last thing I heard was that highcap mags are perfectly legal in the PRK as long as they were purchased before the ban.

Gotta love being able to roll out of bed and start shooting

I'm with Robert, I should have gone! You guys doing a similar trip soon?

I have an itch, and the only cure is more camping...

Everytime we go, I will post. I always like more company.

If you bitches would get yer asses out of bed we could have a pretty good pow-wow.

This area usually closes at the end of April due to fire danger so we would like to get one more trip in before then.

It is a great place and hardly anyone goes out there.

Gentlemen, those there are some fine pictures and a great trip. Too bad y'all are on the other side of America from me or I'd have gone on that trip.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm sure you guys aren't leaving brass, trash, and especially glass behind. Good for you! The other guys give all shooters a bad name...

I do go every so often clean up some informal shooting areas on our moutains... Bastards even bring up fridges to shoot up... NFS will close it to all shooting before too long... Not that I go shoot there with all the clowns firing any which way, but still I'd like good folks to be able to go if they want to...

There may be an occasional 22 casing that gets smashed into the dirt and left behind but all else picked up, including other people's shit.

All targets picked up. Thare are pieces of clay that get left in fields after they are blown up by the shotgun but that cannot be helped if you are shooting clays.

There is no glass shot at or left behind.

The campground that I took everyone to has been used by my friends and I many times and the only way you can tell anyone was there is the fire ring. No trash left in that either.

x2 Here's a picture of the target area after we shot 1000 rounds into a dozen different types of targets. See any issues?
