I was not so lucky, apparently the delays in Big Sluice were more than some folks could handle without a malt beverage or two. Not what I was expecting.

On a positive note someone in a 40 (sorry didn't get a name) dropped by the Rising Sun camp to apologize for the behaviour of a member of their group (I'm really not sure of the specific incident) ... it was a stand-up thing to do and appreciated by all.

Wow! That freaked me out when your nose started dipping!

What is with the shoe soles on your front bumper?

Wow Alvero that looked really off camber. From the video it looks like water pour in though the rear passenger window. Is this an optional route or did everyone have to go thought it? Just curious how did your door seals hold up?

It was really close, but no water got in the cabin from the windows. The carpets were a little bit damp. But dry next day.
The trail went on the side of the water hole, the water crossing was completely optional.

The sole was put there by Dunkane, after his boots lost their sole.

Regards

Alvaro

Mike W., That was me that stopped to appollogize for Josh's actions on the trail.

I was bummed he did that and wanted you folks to know that his asshat actions are his and his alone. I wish I had time to meet you folks but I was heading back to camp at DD when they radioed that Joe & Josh had just busted a pinion gettin around your buddy changin knuckle studs. Karma man. I think the CO boys won in the long run even with the second set of knuckle studs on Caddy.

He was not part of a formal run and was coming in with his brother in law whom is a good friend of mine. Upon hearing of the display I had a conversation with them that went , well , here goes the rest of it.

He got all pissy at my camp ( which I piggybacked off Jack Rice) when I told him he was outa line and proceeded to rant and rave so much so that Jack very kindly asked that he go away. Sorta clouded my scene if you know what I mean. Not appreciated. End of story.

Will set things right when we meet again, good to see ya all on the trail.

We were standing by the orange 40 when the pinion thing happened. We could not see the vehicle in question. The guy next to me (who is very, very, wise and a dear friend who shall not be named) looked at me and said "Spring-over 40, no traction bar, broken rear pinion shaft".

If he diagnoses that well in his real job I want him when I am on the table.......

Josh? Isn't that the same guy who got life flighted out two years ago?

Yup, some people never learn. I have tried my hardest to enlighten that boy but he has his own way.

Gonna let it go now.
