I haven't given up on this year. I have a ton of sky miles and am aware that they are no bargain these days. I certainly appreciate the offers and believe me, I going to try my best to make you guys honor them! I will keep you updated.

There is a place right out on the beach at about MP 3 or so. They have been there every year that I've been there. Not cheap, though.

Last month, my son rented a ATV (four or five diffrent rental vendors to choose from) at the Pismo Beach and had a blasted time for two hours. I had to follow him in my truck since it is so easy for him to get lost if he is on solo.

My 19 yrs old son said his rental ATV is underpowered and only have rear wheel drive, not full 4wd. So I thought that was perfect since he can't go fast enough to break his neck, heaven forbid.

Regards,

That photo was taken from an airplane on the July 4, 1971 weekend.

Of course, driving/riding on the beach is MUCH older than that...

I just formally put my name of the SnT site. Is anyone going up Thursday or Friday? I'd like to get there early. I'll be coming up from valencia( North of L.A.) if anyone wants to caravan.
