Are you asking if other stock trucks go to S-N-T, or if they jump stock rigs?
I brought my stock '85 xtra cab pickup last year and it did fantastic with just airing down. The year before I brought my slightly lifted 40. The 40 is way more capable, but the pickup did just fine out there. I didn't come close to getting stuck.

No, I didn't attempt to jump it.

If you get homesick you can visit Montana de Oro state park.

Does PJ Wahl still have a shop in Pismo?

It looks like I'll be able to make it this year. No teacher conferences this year on those dates I'm not sure what we are going to do, we have to get through the summer first. But it is on my list and it is one of my must dos.

Real good chance I'll be going the year for the first time.
I'm right on US101 in Northern California.
Convoy, maybe. As the time gets closer and our plans firm up we should size up the opportunity.

Too bad after you get out of the stream to get some waves the water is super cool. But doable.

One year we surfed close to the first inlet area to the beach at pismo before leaving. Not aswam, but good for some rides, and a shower.

Ok, I'll play - glad as hell it's the second weekend this year. This will be the first time in 5 years of attendance I'm able to come up on Friday due to work restraints. Can't wait to take part in the Friday evening festivities!

Brent - glad the moon and tides are lining up for you for Friday. But Thursday has become the new Friday.

Alvaro- send me any Sand Chef updates/details (competition is still Friday night) and I'll update the web page.

Everyone- I'm interested in thoughts about the Saturday morning fun run/walk on the beach. Keep it or loose it? Like everything at Surf N Turf it's optional, free and informal, so maybe it doesn't matter what you think...

By the way, I thought last year's Poker Run was the best yet. Thanks to lots of great help!

Time for me to start working on a 2008 logo too...
