New Years-Truckhaven/Salton City

Gonna be camping off S-22 in the Truckhaven/Salton City area for New Years, fun spot with lots of diverse areas, great time of year for the low desert, Sorry the fireworks collection is low for this years event, but sitting on the ridge above both camping areas makes up for it. Gonna run the usual Truckhaven runs plus some semi secret stuff we have on the South side of Marina Dr that are pretty good trails for extreme rigs

Large Toyota flag will be flying from my Toyhauler, this spot is alot less exposed to wind than N. Marina Dr side.

Since some folks get cornfused easy and might not understand when New Years it, It is Dec 31st, January 1st and maybe Jan 2nd if I feel well enough after the night of the 31st.....Oh and to make it clearer for Bogus that will be 2007/2008..............................

Depending on where along the route you get hungry, Might I suggest Sushi Main Street. in HalfMoon Bay.. right off Hwy 1.... It's GOOOODDD!! not the cheapest, but definitely not the most $$ either.. I try to go there as often as I can...

I will more than likely shoot down on the 31st to see the circus. I have not decided yet if I am bringing the 40 or the XR. Hell, I may just have to bring both.

I might just show up as well. I'll look for you. I'll be in a blue 80 with four IPF lights on a rack. I guess I'd be camping out new years and heading back the next day. this isn't too far from me at all.
